Many years ago, I became very interested in the field of Alternative Health and Energy medicine. I originally began my journey out of a need to find a better way of life for my child, whom had been diagnosed with a severe disorder. I started by training in the field of Iridology (Iris Analysis) in 2000, with T. Hockin a gifted Iridologist. My hope was that with this knowledge I would be able to help my child live a better quality of life. Keeping my child away from a life of being dependent on many medications to function each day was the driving force that motivated me. After completing the Iridology course this opened my EYES to many interesting things and lead me down a continuous path of training in many different modalities and Energetic or Natural Treatment Therapies.

After Iridology I was lead into the direction of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a field to which I have a true passion for today. After completing my course I was certified by The Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002. Through my course I had the honor of doing my Clinical training in the Clinic's of two renowned Chinese Doctors, Dr. Wu and Dr Yan. In my Clinic I have seen great results my with my clients and I continue to see miracles when in many cases, people’s conditions or pain syndromes are improved without the use of drugs or surgery.

Since being certified in Acupuncture I have trained with Shali Rassouli an expert specialist in the field of Cosmetic Acupuncture (Non Surgical Facelift). This method helps treat the facial skin and the underlying causes to aging. Shali has appeared on the series called Skin Deep put on by the life network in 2002. I have taken a course in Cellulite Acupuncture, which is a method of strengthening the weakened connective tissue under the skin causing lumpy fatty deposits in the skins tissue. I have also taken a course in Acupuncture Physiatrics, which is a different method of Acupuncture taking on a more muscular/Skeletal approach and based on various styles of Acupuncture.

Along the path I also became very interested in a Bio-energetic treatment called JMT. This stands for Jaffe- Mellor Technique which is a method of treatment focusing on allergy elimination and Auto-Immune conditions. JMT treatments are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chiropractic theories combined with Muscle Response Testing (Kinesiology) to identify and treat blockages in the body. I traveled to the United States three times between 2001 and 2003 to train with Dr. Jaffe and Judy Mellor in this advanced technique of working with the body/mind to make changes through the nervous system. I became a Certified JMT basic and advanced Practitioner.

I have recently purchased an Infra-Red Sauna (sun’s radiant heat) and I work with my clients to help them reap the benefits of this type of dry heat therapy.

I am committed to further my training, if the right courses come along that enable me to improve on my client care. I always keep an open mind and follow my heart to where I need to be at the time. I feel I am blessed to have found a career direction that I am truly happy with, and passionate about.

My Mission Statement for my Clinic is that “I provide informed, relaxing and comfortable treatments with a focus on compassion for my clients cause or conditions.” Healing starts with the minds contentment, and this should not be overlooked.

As for my child he has very little residuals of his past condition, and does not has to live off of drugs to function in this world today. He has experienced many successes and also some failures, but the important thing is that we are learning and growing together, both with an open mind.

It’s the small things in life we take for granted; something like being able to close your hands. I haven’t been able to close my hands fully for several years now. I suffer from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. I was diagnosed almost 10 years ago and have managed through exercises, massage therapy and chiropractic to slow the process. Lately the discomfort and pain have been getting me down. To the point where working on the computer, painting and sleeping were difficult. Last week I called Cheryl Bronson, she was able to see me almost immediately. After a lengthy, thorough and thoughtful intake process, Cheryl aggressively treated my hands, arms, neck and back with acupuncture. She was able to inform me on some of the common indicators that put me at risk for Carpel Tunnel and how it is related to other things I suffer from or am at risk for. It was obvious Cheryl had done research before I came to see her given the books, articles and information she had around her office. The relief I felt in my hands and arms was immediate. When I got home and showed my husband that I could actually close my hands and make a fist, we were both astonished. So much so, that Dave called and booked an appointment to see if Cheryl could help him with his chronic migraine and pinched nerve. I’ll let you know how that goes!

I will be going for a series of treatments to continue this process and I want to thank Cheryl assisting me along this journey. If you have wondered about acupuncture, but were nervous about trying it, I would highly recommend setting time to speak with Cheryl. She is well informed, highly trained and very skilled and no you don’t need to feel like pin cushion!

Cheryl Bronson of C.H.E.R. Health Clinic has saved me!! I have had major issues with my back and joints for the last year.
