I saw a Rheumatologist and Internal Medicine Specialist for chronic pain and swelling in my left ankle and knees and had been diagnosed with Reactive Arthritis. I was put on medication for a year and a half. It temporarily got better but it came back with a vengeance 5 weeks after the birth of my daughter. I went back to the same doctor and he changed my diagnosis to Rheumatoid Arthritis, I was put on two consecutive different treatments unsuccessfully. When Lupus showed up in my blood work I was told that I had only one option left. To go on low-dose chemotherapy and anti-inflamatories for the rest of my life to minimize long term damage to my ankle joint! Shocked and horrified, I knew I had to find a different type of treatment. I started seeing Cheryl for Acupuncture and later JMT. Within only a short time I started seeing improvements and then completely went off my anti-inflammatory. My foot continued to get better and now the pain and swelling is almost completely gone! In the meantime, I went to a different Rheumatologist and Internal Medicine Specialist for a second opinion after Cheryl’s treatments. Surprisingly, the blood test did not show the Reactive Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, or Lupus. In fact she said that nothing came up in my blood work indicating any issues or even inflammation. She turned to me with a look of bewilderment and said, “I do not know what you did or how you did it but somehow you have managed to reset your immune system”. Thank You Cheryl for giving me hope and my life back!! JMT Treatment and acupuncture works for me.
